The driveway slips through a dense line of trees and instantly transports guests into a private lakeside oasis. The clean lines of the white house appear in the distance, partially obscured by young trees and a lawn of rolling earthen mounds. These smooth green sculptural hills add a sense of drama and mystery to the site and contrast with the sharp angles of the house. Near the entrance an address wall grows from the grade, reflecting the house’s own geometry and extending the architectural forms toward the edge of the property. Beyond, the drive flows smoothly to the main entrance and through the garden beyond.
